The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is committed to working collaboratively to promote primary prevention throughout the province. We share evidence-based information through print and web-based resources. We provide education and training on all of our areas of focus. We collaborate to help communities work towards primary prevention and meet their identified needs. Content experts and consumers of our information and training are involved to help us expand our programming.

A Saskatchewan born and raised Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Evidence Based Birth Professional Member and Prenatal and Postpartum Educator with an innate passion for all things pregnancy, birth, babies and breastfeeding.

 

All services and educational classes are available in-person and virtually to families located in both Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory.

treated with compassion and respect.

 

Appointments and physical examinations
Please inform our receptionist if you require special test such as an ultrasound or require extra
time for counseling. Call to cancel any appointment that you are unable to attend. We keep to
our appointment schedule as closely as possible, however urgent problems and circumstances
can occur that require your physician’s time. Please be understanding.


Pelvic examinations are routine in our office. If you wish to have a support person present, please let us know

The Midwives Association of Saskatchewan is the professional organization which represents registered midwives and the profession of midwifery in Saskatchewan.
