I'm Lana, owner and creative mind behind gabe+olive handmade. The clothing you purchase here has a story, a well thought out process from choice of fabrics, the pattern and of course the time and love going into each handmade piece. I started out by upcycling my old clothing to create new pieces for my kids to wear. Through this, I realized very quickly that I had a passion for sewing, which was the inception of gabe + olive handmade. What started out as a passion project, quickly escalated to sewing clothing for others. It gives me so much joy (seriously my heart does a little cartwheel) seeing others wear my creations and people appreciating the time, design and materials that have gone into each item! I love slow fashion and what it offers, ethically made with sustainable fabrics. Like myself, my suppliers are primarily small, locally owned shops!
